About Dr. Uecker

Dr. Milt Uecker, Ed.D. is the director of the Lowrie Center for Christian School Education, associate dean of the college of education, and a professor of education.

Dr. Milt Uecker teaches courses on educational philosophy, early childhood education, and curriculum. 
He is a national and international conference speaker and a contributor to the Christian Early Education and Christian School Education journals for the Association of Christian Schools International (ASCI). 

Dr. Uecker views placing God’s Word at the center of the curriculum as essential to the Christian school movement.

New book by CIU professor of education fills void in Christian education.
Distinctively Christian by Professor Emeritus Dr. Milt Uecker focuses on early childhood spiritual development in children ages 2 to 8 and will primarily be used by Christian school teachers and program directors.
