The Mission of God and the Secret of the Golden Thread invites students on a global journey to evaluate the trustworthiness of the Bible.


Throughout the journey, students will examine the plot and four significant motifs within the story of Scripture to uncover the secret of the Golden thread and how it applies to their lives.


This course invites students on a global journey to examine the historicity and the plot of the greatest story ever told. Students will be challenged to objectively investigate four of the significant motifs throughout the plot of the Hebrew Bible.


This is not a survey course but an introduction to a relational, missional God who created us with purpose and invites us to know Him, and not merely about Him. Students will be invited to consider a personal relationship and to practice a daily awareness in their approach and response to the God of the Bible. Students will interact with the disciplines of language, literary analysis, archeology, geography, and history while having the opportunity for a personal application and personal contribution.

Preview three of our core courses in our Engaging the Heart Scope & Sequence for High School Students


100 Foundations of Faith I equips students with the questions to examine the concepts of faith, reality, worldview and ultimately Christ from a safe, non-threatening perspective. Students will examine the concepts of faith, reality and truth from the perspectives of each of the major worldview prior to examining some of the core beliefs of Christ-centered Theism. Students will evaluate the claim that the Bible is God's collected book of inerrant revelation using internal and external evidence including non-Christian sources and historical archeological discoveries.


200 Life of Christ challenges students to objectively analyze the historical perspectives and personal claims of Jesus of Nazareth. Students will compare and contrast the different beliefs about the deity and humanity of Jesus. Students will understand and differentiate between core theological claims regarding the atonement and test the reliability of the resurrection. ​Students will formulate their own theological position about who they say that Jesus is and how they will respond to His invitation to follow Him.


400 L.E.A.D. Students will examine the doctrines of the Imago and MissioDei in the context of being equipped to unpack their unique talents and learning to steward them into strengths. Students will be equipped with the keys to discover, align, and invest their talents and gifts in ministry and life beyond the schoolwalls. Students will develop skills to equip others to discover their unique personal calling and leverage their talents through coaching relationships. Students will be challenged to build relationships and create an application project that impacts life beyond the walls of the classroom.
