Lynn Hoekstra

Contributor to Distinctively Christian; A Christ-centered approach to Early Childhood Teaching & Learning​

Lynn Hoekstra, Ed.D., is the director of teacher education at Columbia International University, Columbia, SC, where she teaches in the undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Her special interests include designing curriculum and instruction with a biblical worldview, promoting inquiry-based and outdoor education, and nurturing spiritual development. She has 16 years’ experience teaching in Christian schools in Michigan and California before receiving her Ed.D. in teaching and learning from Azusa Pacific University.
