Dawn Poulterer-Woods

Contributor to Distinctively Christian; A Christ-centered approach to Early Childhood Philosophy & Principles

Dawn Poulterer-Woods has been working in education as both a teacher and counselor for over 20 years. She did her undergraduate work at Messiah College and her graduate work at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Christian counseling.

Recently, God has transitioned her out of the classroom and into the writing, speaking, and life coaching platforms. Dawn has been speaking at education conferences, church events, women's retreats, and youth conferences all her adult life. Her winsome personality, humor, and deep love of Scripture leave people inspired and motivated. As Paul says in Galatians, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free." It is Dawn's hope to lead families into this freedom.

Dawn is also a speaker for the nonprofit Families Managing Media, which was established to help parents face the technology addiction of the 21st century. In all her work, she addresses how screens are impacting relational, developmental, and spiritual growth.
