Chris BrowneChris Browne is the managing partner of the Engaged Schools Initiative, which is a ministry of Wheaton Press. The Engaged Schools Initiative exists to train teachers to equip students to reflect Christ in their circles of influence 10 years after they graduate.
A pastor for more than 13 years, Chris has also served as a teacher, Bible department head, and campus pastor in the last decade. Browne has also worked as an adjunct professor at Moody Bible Institute and at Trinity International University in the areas of leadership, discipleship, and spiritual formation. With a background in instructional design, organizational leadership, and analytical metrics, Chris authored the Flourishing Student Assessment, which is currently the largest and longest ongoing study of Christian school students. The Flourishing Student Assessment has partnered with schools on six continents to assess over 150,000 Christian school students, uncovering trends in belief, understanding, motivation, discipleship, worldview, and integration. In the past few years, Browne has trained teachers and administrators from over 50 countries and has keynoted or led workshops in South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Rwanda, Kenya, South Africa, Panama, and Colombia.
