How does it work?
Measure what matters
Have you noticed that many "assessment" tools focus on things that either do not matter (like actions, attitudes or behaviors, or knowledge), or things that Jesus rejected as measurements of the heart (like giving, serving, or attendance) while missing what Jesus considered to matter the most? The Global Student Assessment is different. We follow Christs model of formative assessment to differentiate between causes and outcome, motivation and maturity, understandingand integration to provide school leaders and disciple makers the information that equips you to differentiate to the hearts of those entrusted to your care. God Gives Wisdom to the Farmer
How does it work? We follow Christ's teaching and measure what the rabbi's referred to as the Kavanah (the bent of the heart). The prophet Isaiah tells us that God gives wisdom to the farmer to differentiate in the soil to maximize the harvest. In the Gospels, Jesus tells us that the soil is representative of the hearts of men and then He gives wisdom to His disciples how to differentiate. |
Because "Trying Harder" Does Not Work
By being able to recognize students individual spiritual needs and their obstacles to growth we can follow Christ's example by teaching to their hearts and breaking the cycle insantity that believes "trying harder" will produce different results. |
If the primary characteristic of Christ’s method was His specific focus on the human heart, then how are you equipping your teachers to differentiate like Jesus?
|
The Global Student Assessment is different. Instead of focusing on outward behaviors, the GSA follows Christ's model to assess and differentiate to the heart.
|
Rather than asking students endless lists of questions about attitudes, actions and behaviors, The Global Student Assessment connects to the heart.
